Public sharing of datasets from the Buzsaki Lab
The Buzsáki Lab shares data through three portals: direct download via Globus, a select set in NWB is available from the DANDI Archive, and an earlier set of datasets at CRCNS.org. If you are looking for a dataset that isn’t listed, or need additional information about a dataset, please contact us at buzsaki-databank@googlegroups.com. We also host a web-based overview of the most recent data on our website, with links to the relevant datasets. You can find details on subjects, procedures, equipment, consumables, and so on. Globus
You can download our datasets through Globus. Globus is a fast and secure p2p sharing method. To use it, install the Globus download client on your computer. Please use the link below to access the lab’s Globus endpoint. We are sharing hundreds of TB of data this way. Data is organized by investigator, subject, and session. The data follows our data standards described in CellExplorer, Buzcode, and Neurosuite.

The lab has shared a large set of datasets via CRCNS:
- hc-1 – Simultaneous intracellular and extracellular recordings from the hippocampus region CA1 of anesthetized rats.
- hc-2 – Multi-unit recordings from the rat hippocampus made during open field foraging.
- hc-3 – Multiple single-unit recordings from different rat hippocampal and entorhinal regions while the animals were performing multiple behavioral tasks.
- hc-4 – Extracellular recordings from multi-site silicon probes used for clustering of neuron responses in rat hippocampal and entorhinal regions.
- hc-5 – Simultaneous extracellular recordings from left and right hippocampal areas CA1 and right entorhinal cortex from a rat performing a left/right alternation task and other behaviors.
- hc-11 – Recordings from hippocampal area CA1, PRE, during and POST novel spatial learning.
- hc-14 – Simultaneous extracellular recordings in dorsal hippocampus, basolateral amygdala, and neighboring structures in rats performing a spatial aversive task and sleeping.
- th-1 – Extracellular recordings from multi-site silicon probes in the anterior thalamus and subicular formation of freely moving mice.
- pfc-2 – Simultaneous electrophysiological recordings of ensembles of isolated neurons in rat medial prefrontal cortex and intermediate CA1 area of the hippocampus.
